With growling synthesizers, pulsing drums, and distorted guitar, ISØBEL delivers brooding electro indie-pop anthems to fans of similar artists such as St. Vincent, Awolnation and Metric. This multi-instrumentalist solo artist writes, records and produces her music out of her home studio in Ottawa, Canada.
Having performed at festivals such as Pique, the YGK Craft Beer Fest and the Ice Dragon Boat Festival, ISØBEL captivates audiences with her energetic and assertive stage presence, slowly increasing the ante as she delves into topics of self-doubt, egotism, relationships and womanhood, leaving her audience wanting more.
In 2021, ISØBEL was selected as a winner of the Ottawa Music Development Fund’s Concert Artist Fees Grant, for which a live performance was aired on Rogers TV. Her music has been used for the City of Ottawa’s “Music on Hold” program and “City Sounds” playlist from 2020 to 2023 and her single “Infinity Pools” aired on LiVE 88.5 FM as part of their “Big Money Shot Spotlight”.
ISØBEL continues to pick up steam as she gears up to release her next single “Shameless” in 2024.
